Pattern: from Dolls & Dolls by 米山京子 (Japanese) with a few alternations (to make my life easier) Her dolls are so lovely! I am still trying hard to achieve that "lovely" feel that emerge naturally from her dolls. Indeed, it's very hard for me.
Materials: from everywhere! Ribbons from Mokuba; thread, trims and linings from Fabricland;Felts (for boots) from Dollar Store; cotton from Shoppers Drug Mart; foundation material (some plant fibre) from Michael's; blue fabrics from a fabric store in Queen Street West (now closed);the yarn for Wawa's hair is from Village Yarns; and last but not least, the crinoline (for eyes) is from Helen Gibb's Ribbons (it was white, but I dyed it with a black permanent marker)
All I left is some makeup for her...

I think you got the "lovely" feel alright. The doll is very, very cute.
I admire people who know how to sew: I always like the final product but have no patience for the process itself.
And thank you SO much for telling me about the Romni Wools - what a great store!!! I am coming back to Toronto for another week and this time I'll prepare a list of yarns I want.
Yep, I do...
My sister thinks your doll is really cute...
Wow, that is so sweet! I really miss my dolls and stuffed animals now.
Have you heard of Etsy.com? maybe you should open a shop!
You did really good on that doll. She is adorable. Etsy is a good thing. I have a shop there too, just nothing in it right now. :)
